Cookie Policy

BibleFind is light on storage. We use a small number of essential cookies to keep you signed in, and your browser’s own storage to remember your preferences. We don’t use advertising cookies or cross-site trackers.

Cookies and local storage

Cookies are small pieces of data stored in your browser. Local storage is a related browser feature that keeps data on your device. BibleFind uses both sparingly: cookies to keep you securely signed in, and local storage to remember small preferences. Neither we nor third parties can read these from other websites.

What we store

Signing in

If you have an account, an essential cookie keeps you signed in so your verses and reflections are there when you return. Without it, you would have to sign in on every page.

Saved verses and searches

When you are not signed in, the verses you keep and your last few searches are stored locally so they persist between visits, on your own device.

Translation preference

Your chosen Bible translation (NIV, KJV, etc.) is remembered so you don’t have to reselect it each visit.

Understanding usage

A privacy-respecting analytics provider helps us understand how BibleFind is used, so we can make it calmer and more helpful. This is about patterns, not advertising.

Your choice

Analytics cookies only load if you allow them. You can change your choice here at any time, and it takes effect right away.

You haven't made a choice yet. Essential cookies are always on.

No advertising trackers

We do not use advertising cookies, social media pixels, or any cross-site tracking technology. The third parties we work with, such as our payment provider and the analytics described above, exist only to make BibleFind work well and follow strict data protection standards.

Managing your data

You can clear all BibleFind data at any time through your browser’s settings. Look for “Clear site data” or “Clear local storage” in your browser’s developer tools or privacy settings.

Clearing this data will remove your saved verses, recent searches, and preferences. The app will still work. It just won’t remember your previous activity.
